Clan MacKenzie
A dominant clan of the north-west Highlands. From a foothold in Kintail the MacKenzies grew to control much of Ross-shire and, as Earls of Seaforth, ranked among the great Highland magnates. The Seaforth line carried a second motto, Cuidich 'n Righ.
