Jason Caruana

Jason Caruana is the Managing Director of Cashel Travel, a leading Destination Management Company (DMC) specialising in incentive programmes, conferences, group tours, and bespoke travel across Scotland, England, Wales, and Ireland. In this role he oversees strategy, commercial performance, and the delivery of complex programmes for international corporate and leisure clients.
Jason brings more than two decades of experience in MICE and destination management. Before joining Cashel Travel, he spent 23 years with the M. Demajo Group in Malta, holding senior leadership roles at Special Interest Travel (SIT), a DMC focused on conferences, incentives, and group travel.

Background
Jason’s career includes a background in the Maltese film industry and extensive work on large-scale conference and event logistics. He has managed movements for international groups of up to 26,000 participants across a range of sectors and destinations, and has represented his companies at major industry trade shows such as IMEX and IBTM World. His leadership style emphasises strong teams, mentorship, and close collaboration with clients and partners.
